- 소개 -

뉴저지 출신의 5인조 펑크메탈 그룹으로 'Thursday', 'Cursivie'와 비유되는 밴드이다.
이들이 발표한 대부분의 곡들은 공격적이며, 빠르고, 강한 메탈의 음악성향을 갖고 있는 동시에 멜로딕과 팝적인 성향을 지니고있다.

고등학교 친구였던 리드보컬 'Gerald Way'와 드럼 'Matt Pelissier'가 함께 곡 작업을 시작하였고, 이어 기타리스트인 'Ray Toro'가 리드 보컬인 'Gerald Way'의 요청으로 밴드에 합류한다. 뒤이어 리드보컬 'Gerald Way'의 남동생인 베이시스트 'Milkey Way', 기타리스트인 'Frank Lero'가 동시에 멤버가 됨으로써 다섯명의 멤버가 확정되었고, 이들은 뉴욕 근처의 뉴저지 출신답게 북동부지역의 공연장을 돌며 데뷔앨범 구상을 시작하게된다.
